RIMJET Friction Free Cable System

An improved cable guide assembly applicable to machinery, scientific instruments and prosthetic devices. When subjected to varying rotational and directional cable stress, the assembly has the ability to automatically align itself so that the cable stress is minimized. The Friction Free Cable System is ideally suited for above-elbow prosthetic devices. In addition to extending the cable life in such devices to more than one year from two to eight weeks over the conventional cable system, maintenance is greatly enhanced and virtually eliminated.
